General

"The Strip" refers to a leased corridor of land through two Indian reservation used by the Milwaukee Railroad. It started at Evarts, SD, and ended at Meadow, SD. The corridor was used primarily for moving cattle from northwestern South Dakota to a railroad station near the Missouri River.
