Ralph A. Meyer Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two scrapbooks compiled by R. A. Meyer’s grandmother Mae C. Meyer. They document Meyer’s college football and baseball careers at Black Hills State College, as well as time playing for the American Legion Post 17 Lakers. The scrapbooks contain Meyer’s college letter with football and baseball pins, newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, certificates, and other items.

Biographical / Historical
R. A. “Ralph” Meyer, of Waterton, South Dakota, attended Black Hills State College from 1968 to 1972, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He was a starter on the football and baseball teams at BHSC. He also played baseball for the American Legion Post 17 Lakers.
