Spearfish Pathways Association, incorporated in 1985, was a grassroots organization with the goal of improving Spearfish quality of life by building recreation paths for bicyclists and pedestrians away from routes for motorized vehicles. The organization had great support from the Spearfish, South Dakota, community.
