Biographical Note
Elsa Jane Scoggin was born in 1922 and graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1939. She attended to Black Hills Teacher's College, where she received recognition as Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges. She then enlisted in the Women's Army Corp in 1943 and served as an Air-WAC in North Africa. She married Charles Bunney in Broadus, MT in 1946 and had two sons, Ernest and Randall. After an extended illness, Elsa passed away at the age of 29 in Belle Fourche.
