[FCE] Extension Homemakers Club [FCE], 1978-1979
Scope and Contents
The collection contains records from the Lawrence County Extension Office from 1917-2004. The Extension Agents' reports detail numerous events activities in which the Extension Office was involved. The events took place primarily in Lawrence County and surrounding areas in the Black Hills. There are a number of scrapbooks from various 4–H clubs hosted in Butte and Lawrence Counties. Other items included are: minutes from the Lawrence County Extension Council from 1960-1995; documents pertaining to the Quarter Century Club; photographs of Extension office and 4-H, activities, 1958-1987; state and county fair booklets; awards and plaques given to 4-H clubs; Extension Homemakers Club documents (FCE); Home Extension Club documents; and horticulture information published between 1924-1999.
