Scope and Contents
This album contains the records, orders, and other documents relating to the military service of Neil Lyon King, from 1942 to 1946 and reserves to 1955. Included are records, orders, and documents during his time as Adjutant, and later, Commanding Officer of the United States Army Air Forces 93rd College Training Detachement stationed at Black Hills Teachers College from February 1943 to June 1944. Additionally there are supporting materials related to the College Training Detachment Program, and to the contents of the collection, its historical context, and its donation to Black Hills State University.
