Scope and Contents
The Albert J. Wolff Collection contains over a thousand black and white negatives and color slides of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy and Chicago & North Western railroad operations in Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota. The collection, however, does include some photos of steam engines and railroad facilities. The images were created by at least nine rail enthusiasts/photographers: Don Christensen, George Cockle, J. R. Douda, Ed Fulcomer, The Garys, Carl Hehl, R. H. Kindig, Lou Schmitz, and A. J. Wolff.
