Physical Description

General

The map shows a Deadwood Central Railroad proposal to build lines throughout the mining region, winding around the mountainsides of every gulch, eventually, reaching Green Mountain. It was to access all parts of the mining districts. It shows the Golden Reward and the Isadora, but few other mines. This proposal was in anticipation of development. The Deadwood Central Railroad never built over the mapped routes. The FE&MV RR would, however, build a similar a route. A note says the survey was cancelled in 1925.
