Biographical Note
Frances Doud was born September 1, 1995 in Rapid City. She was raised on a ranch near Fairpoint. She graduated from Sturgis High School before attending Spearfish Normal School. She married Julius Haedt, and the two lived in Piedmont for a short time, then moved to Lead. They remained there for some time before moving to Rapid City in 1976.
