Biographical Note
Eva Grace Siple Borg was born in 1898 in Towner, North Dakota, to a pioneer family. From 1927 to the 1947 she taught physical education, science, and English at Lead High School in Lead, S.D. where she also coached girls' basketball. She retired to marry Joe Borg in 1947. She was active in the Lutheran church and served as President of Lutheran Social Services. She moved to Sacramento, Calif. where she was active in volunteer work. Borg was given an award in 1988 by the Sacramento Elderly Nutrition Program for ten years of service. Borg died of a heart attack in 1994.
